Chris’s mission is to develop safe and effective movement progressions that improve independence and performance. In evaluating and treating patients, he helps them reduce pain during motion by identifying and helping them correct dysfunctional movement patterns. Becca Lee, Clinical Director of EW Motion Therapy Trussville, notes that “Chris expertly takes a team approach when working with his clients to identify dysfunctional movement patterns and develop sound, achievable treatment progressions that help them move better, feel better, and live better.” In addition to treating a full physical therapy patient load, Chris serves as the EW Motion Therapy Homewood Social Media liaison. Chris’s areas of interest include sports injuries in high school to professional athletes, post–operative rehabilitation, injury prevention, treating Parkinson’s patients, and keeping the weekend warrior healthy. He has completed a Level 1 Dry Needling Certification and is working toward Strength and Conditioning Certification. Chris maintains a healthy active lifestyle as an avid outdoor enthusiast, competes in obstacle course races, hunts, and loves spending time with his family and dogs. A native of Houston, Texas, he has called Birmingham his home since 2016.
