Amanda’s passion is promoting healthy movement patterns and lifestyles. She loves the reward of listening and effectively helping any person who walks in move better, feel better, and live better. “Amanda has a true gift,” says Jon Delk, COO and partner of EW Motion Therapy. “She effortlessly combines expert evaluation and treatment techniques with an uncanny ability to promote healthy lifestyle choices.” As the Clinical Director of EW Motion Therapy Homewood, Amanda both manages and is involved in patient care. In addition to her primary responsibilities, Amanda participates in clinical education, mentorship for new PTs, and serves on the EW leadership team.

Amanda has incorporated a weekly exercise routine into her life that she calls “movement and mental therapy sessions.” During these, she practices, analyzes, and gains personal experience on both current and new treatment techniques with the goal of improving patient care. A native of Chicago, Amanda has called Birmingham home since 2004.
