Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Mitchell spent five years in Birmingham while completing his education before making Birmingham home. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kat, and their two daughters, Lillian and Eleanor. He also enjoys weightlifting, following college sports, trying new restaurants, and serving at his local church.
