Nina Ortiz

Nina is passionate about helping people stay active, strong, and confident at every stage of life. Nina had often heard rave reviews for EW from her clients, but when she decided to try EW physical therapy for a nagging injury, she experienced our client-centered approach firsthand, and that led to her decision to join our personal training team.

She says, “Now that I’m in my fifties, I’ve seen firsthand how consistent exercise and a healthy lifestyle are the true separators between those who live full, active lives and those who struggle to keep up. What really motivates me is the chance to empower clients to maintain their independence, health, and vitality for as long as possible. For me, the most rewarding part of this work is not just seeing physical progress, but knowing that I’m helping someone create the foundation for a longer, more fulfilling life.”

  • Certified Nutrition Coach (Working Against Gravity [WAG], 2021)

Nina grew up in Miami, FL, and has lived in Birmingham since 2018. Nina also loves spending time in the garden, cooking, baking sourdough, and tackling DIY home projects. She stays active to keep up with her family’s adventures, which include skiing, hiking, surfing, rock climbing, white-water rafting, and scuba diving.
